Pilot project exploring the benefits to historians of interrogating charters written in Anglo-Saxon England before AD 900 using digital technologies. The on-line publication is based around XML mark-up of charters written in Anglo-Saxon England before A.D. 900. The project links to other Anglo-Saxon history based projects like the Prosopography of Anglo-Saxon England (PASE), the Anglo-Saxon charter-boundaries project (Langscape), and the Revised Electronic Sawyer.
