Sherpa DP2 will extend the collaborative, shared preservation environment developed by the Sherpa DP. The project will build on that work by extending the implementation model to interact with repositories holding different and varied types of digital content and using a more diverse range of content management systems. A tool for creating METS packages will be developed, and automation of digital object preservation will be investigated. The Sherpa DP digital repository Handbook will be expanded and enhanced.
