Walking Tours
Guided walking tours of Graz will be offered during the conference week, after the conclusion of the daily conference program, and take participants on a max. two hour long tour through of Graz’ historical city centre. The local tour guides have both history and stories to tell. The walking tour is also a good starting point for those who want to explore Graz more intimately on their own.
Wednesday: (Collision with the Conference Dinner) 5.30 pm
Please note that both tours overlap with the conference Dinner. We would ask you to change your tour in Conftool, if you already registered for one of these tours and the Dinner,
- Tour 1: Schlossberg – Explore the Castle Hill
- Tour 2: Go West – Explore the West Side
Thursday: 7pm
- Tour 3: Go West – Explore the West Side
- Tour 4: Graz Kennenlernen – Get to know Graz
Friday: 5.30pm
- Tour 5: Graz Kennenlernen – Get to know Graz
- Tour 6: Schlossberg – Explore the Castle Hill
Saturday Excursions
Places are still available for the 3 Excursions on Saturday. Don’t miss the chance to see Admont Abbey Library (Trip 3) with a little walk through the beautiful national Park, or visit a medieval Castle with a bird of prey show and a visit to the Chocolate factory (Tour 1) or last but not least get a taste of Styrias Tuscany with a tour through a wine cellar at a castle and have a ‘Brettljause’ at a ‘Buschenschank’ (wine tavern) (Tour 2).
