at the top of the page
bottom
at the foot of the page
margin
in the margin (left, right, or both)
opposite
on the opposite, i.e. facing, page
overleaf
on the other side of the leaf
above
above the line
right
to the right, e.g. to the right of a vertical line of text, or to the right of a figure

below the line

to the left, e.g. to the left of a vertical line of text, or to the left of a figure

at the end of e.g. chapter or volume.
