General description: This is a virtual anthology comprising satirical texts, novels, and engravings from the period of the Ancien Régime, all dealing with the theme of marriage.

Implementation description: This project uses a large TEI tagset because of the variety of different texts involved. Engravings are marked up with the Image Markup Tool using the FACSIMILE module.
