Description: Menota is a network of leading Nordic archives, libraries and research departments working with medieval texts and manuscript facsimiles. The aim of Menota is to preserve and publish medieval texts in digital form and to adapt and develop encoding standards necessary for this work. The archive accepts texts in the Nordic languages as well as in Latin. By the end of 2017, 40 texts of approx. 1,7 million words were available in the archive. Several texts have been annotated for morphology (lemma and grammatical form), and many also offer corresponding digital facsimiles. Since 2016, Menota has been part of the CLARIN infrastructure. Archive: Catalogue of texts: http://clarino.uib.no/menota. Related resources: The Menota Handbook, currently in v. 3.0 beta. List of versions: http://www.menota.org/handbook.xml.
